Nigel was always my "Uncle" Nigel, although, of course we were really cousins.

The picture of Nigel with the red Irish Setter (Folly?) encapsulates my childhood memory of him. The dog, the pipe, the 'tash. Also the model railway, a thing of great beauty. 

In my mind's eye, the picture with Marion, and the family, in the front garden, could have been taken yesterday.

I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy is with his family.
