I am so sad to hear of Mr Georges passing. I have never forgotten his classes, and am forever grateful to him for the joy I have had from music, listening with a slightly more educated ear, and therefore greater appreciation thanks to his passion
I remember Mr George very well from my days at Kings, in the 60's. He gave me my love of all things musical. He taught me to read music (although my playing skills were rudimentary to say the least), and to appreciate a wide variety of genres, from 60's heavy metal, to Hawkwind, Folk and a lot of classical music too, including opera.

There were so many happy childhood memories of Uncle Nigel. Lots of them involve the dogs of course and Nigel trying and failing to control us all as children running amuck in the house in Peterborough. I can't imagine the world without him and the photographs here take me right back just as they do for Neil. I hope we can all share many more photo memories once these isolating times are over and access to all our archived albums is possible again. My thoughts are with you all and of course with dear Marian at this incredibly difficult time. x x x
